This is a bag of 500 pieces of 5.56x45mm NATO (223 Remington) once fired brass for reloading.
The fired brass is mostly comprised of Lake City head stamps, although it is possible it might contain other manufacturer brands too. LC08 and/or LC04 are the vast majority of stamps, along with a much smaller percentage of LC01. The brass comes direct from United States military bases, where it was used for training purposes; there may be dings, dents and/or slight imperfections found on the cases, although our most recent lot was mostly contained in steel ammo cans and is in great shape.
The fired brass would be classified as Grade 2. It was tumbled cleaned using crushed walnut, but has not been processed in any other way. The primers are all still crimped on the fired brass to provide certainty that these are definitely once fired. All the brass was hand-sorted, but of course customers must inspect all cases for suitability prior to reloading. The majority of any flaws found in this brass are easily removed upon resizing, or should be shot out upon the first firing. This brass has absolutely not been re-sized nor deprimed. Full length sizing and trimming are required before loading the first time. Fired brass is sold as-is.
Per our standing policy, OFLCB does include a 3% quantity overage count to help ensure any unusable fired brass cases are covered, providing a full number of useful brass.
This is NOT live ammunition. Reloading is a dangerous process and OFLCB shares no liability from your reloading activities. Extreme care must be taken during your reloading efforts.
